Nepali Curried Spinach (Saag)

This is probably the simplest recipe. Sauteed spinach with garlic cloves and curry powder.

Nepali Curried Spinach (Saag)
Recipe adapted from Zach's Travel Musings, here:
Ingredients:
Spinach - 4~5 cups, chopped
Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
Cumin seeds - ½tsp
Turmeric - ¼tsp
Curry powder - ½tsp
Salt & Pepper - to taste

Method:
  • Heat 2tsp oil in a saute pan. Add cumin seeds and once they start to splutter, add the minced garlic and saute till lightly browned. Then add chopped spinach, turmeric, curry powder, salt and pepper.
  • Mix well and cook covered until the greens are tender.

  6. In the ingredients garlic is mentioned but in the method it is not used. However, cumin is used which is not listed in the ingredients. I am sure this is an awesome recipe but please proof read
