Banana Nutella Milkshake

Blogging Marathon# 41: Week 1/ Day 3
Theme: Summer Specials
Dish: Banana Nutella Milkshake
For the 3rd and final day of BM# 41, I have a very simple and delicious kid friendly drink. It is calorie rich, and hence should be taken occasionally. Both my kids loved this creamy drink.

As I was thinking about this post's introduction, I was lost for a little bit since there is not much to write about the milkshake itself, apart from the fact that it is super simple to make and tastes amazing. So instead of me writing about something, I thought why not ask my readers a question and have you share your thoughts.

Banana Nutella Milkshake
For today I would love to know what your cooking style is? As for me, when I'm cooking I like to multi-task. For example, I turn on the stove before starting to do anything. When the onions are sauteing, I prep the other veggies or wash the dishes. I don't baby sit my dishes, I don't hover over and stir the dish unless I absolutely have to. There is no right or wrong here, it's a style each and everyone of us develop as we cook. I would love to know how you cook, do you chop all the veggies before turning on the stove? Please share your thoughts in the comments.

  1. That is one rich and delicious drink ! I chop my veggies direct in pan unless I have to chop before and that for few veggies like Taro roots , pumpkin etc...

  5. That is my son's kind of milkshake. :)
Usually I cook my food quick even though I start from the scratch. I tend to do more multitasking and would spend time in front of the stove only as much as required for the job to get done. As you mentioned, if I am preparing Indian stuff, onions get cut while I am doing the tadka and veggies during the sauteeing of onions. Rice and dal go into cooker and get done while I am done with the curry.

  8. So so tempting. .n beautiful ckicks. Most of my cooking is planned and since we have a big family lot of cooking is done. So normally the staff prepares everything and then I go and cook..I have all four burners on at one go ..

  9. what a quick and yummy shake. I usually do all prep except maybe finishing herbs before I turn the stove on. While food is cooking I am doing dishes and other clean up.

  10. Very rich and creamy drink ! I typically MW all the veggies to partially cook and so while they are in the MW I finish off the rest of the prep work. Rice in the rice cooker, dal in the pressure cooker and I am out of the kitchen in less than 40 min :)
