Flax Oat Wheat Dinner Rolls for #BreadBakers

It's time to bake for Bread Bakers again. Our host for this month is Deepthi who blogs at Baking Yummies. She wanted us to make either yeasted or quick, sweet or savory rolls. I had quite a roll recipes that I wanted to try on my Pinterest board. Finally narrowed it down to these Flax-Oat-Wheat dinner rolls.
Wholegrain Dinner rolls with Oats, Flax and Wheat
These rolls are hearty and have an earthy taste with the addition of oats, wholewheat and ground flax seeds. These are perfect whole grain alternate to the soft and squishy white dinner rolls. They are great to make for cookouts or for your everyday dinner.

Buttery Sourdough Buns

It's only 4 days to Christmas and hope all of you have your gifts and menus ready for the big day. This year, one of our lovely friend is hosting the Christmas eve party and she asked me to bring some dinner rolls. They all love these golden pull apart dinner rolls, but I wanted to try a new recipe this year.
I found the recipe for these sourdough buns in the King Arthur Flour baker's catalog. I loved their cute little swirly shape and the addition of paprika to the butter gives them a nice reddish hue on top.
These buns are super soft on the inside and a nice crispy crust almost like a crescent roll. The swirly shape means they are fun to unravel and enjoy just like a crescent roll.

Pumpkin Dinner Rolls for #BreadBakers

November is cruising by and with the festival season around, I'm sure all of you must be planning or at least thinking of your holiday menus. So you are in luck because our #BreadBakers group is baking up some special and festive loaves or rolls or breads that you can bring to a family feast or celebratory dinner. Actually I'm lucky to be hosting this month's event, big thanks to Stacy and Renee for the opportunity. Don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of the post for the list of breads by my fellow bread bakers.
Golden Pumpkin Dinner Rolls
We went apple picking last month and ended up with 4 little pie pumpkins from the patch. I kept them for display till Halloween, then roasted a couple and made pumpkin puree out of them. With that puree I made these Pumpkin dinner rolls. Recipe is from King Arthur Flour site.

Golden Pull-apart Butter buns

Bake-a-thon 2014: Day 3
Bake of the Day: Dinner Rolls
I love to bake and I'm always looking for opportunities to bake new recipes. I volunteered to bake something for our Thanksgiving potluck and bookmarked a new bread recipe but I couldn't buy one of the ingredients on time to make that bread. So I decided to bake these simple dinner rolls instead. They were a super hit at the party.
Golden Pull-apart Butter buns
Recipe is from King Arthur flour and these dinner rolls are soft and fluffy. I replaced some of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour and they were still so fluffy and delicious. Adding too much whole wheat flour might make these buns too dense, so make sure not to over-do with the whole wheat flour.
